  1. I really like your video and would like your permission to include it in a power point presentation for teachers on specific learning difficulties. I am a special education teacher myself.

      • One of our Humanities Teacher of the Year just gave her lecture on Dyslexia. She used your video and in order to keep her lecture intact, we would like to include your video in the lecture on video. We post this video to youtube on our pearlrivercollege youtube site. Rather than use the video partially according to fair use in copyright practices, we would like your permission to use this video in its entirety so as not to diminish its message. If you could send your permission via email to the above address, I would appreciate it as would our lecturer. Thank you so much.

  2. Hi I am a 14 year old dyslexic. I would like to use this video in my power point, is there a way to link it to my presentation? Thanks so much I appreciate what you are doing.

  3. I found your video really inspirational and would like to ask for your permission to use it in a presentation to colleagues on dyslexia awareness.

    • Absolutely. I created this small video to share with others. I appreciate you helping build awareness around dyslexia. Thank you!

  4. I too would like to have permission to use this in an Orton-Gillingham teacher training course. I teach dyslexics, every day, and spend a lot of time training teachers. I LOVE this video!

  5. Hello, I am giving a presentation on Specific Learning Difficulties at work and would very much like to use your video to highlight the Dyslexia section. Thank you

  6. Hi,
I am the deputy editor of Parents Magazine, and I loved your video. We have an article about dyslexia geared towards parents of young children that will be in our December issue. We would like to include your terrific video in the December digital issue (for ipad and other tablets).

We’d like the video to live on our secured server and pop up on the tablet page in a nice little frame (since streaming from YouTube doesn’t look as good). In order for it to live on our secured server, we need to get the video file from you and convert it from Flash, which is incompatible with the iPad. Would you be able to send it to us on a disk (I’ll give you our FedEx account number) or give us an FTP site where we can download it?

Please note that this does NOT mean that we own the video or are licensing it. It’s just a secure home for it so it can be directly linked to the tablet and ensure the best user experience for the video. There is no way for readers (or anyone) to access this server via the internet. Only the people who buy the tablet edition can view it.

I know that parents whose children have been diagnosed with dyslexia will be very inspired and reassured by your video.

    Thanks,
    Diane

  10. I am an adult with dyslexia. I was diagnosed years ago at the University of Chicago Reading Clinic. At the clinic they encouraged me to use readers to get through college. Between undergraduate and graduate school I had over 14,000 hours of reading with readers and books on tape. This summer I will talk about this at the Assistive Technology Summer Institute in Phoenix. I would like to have permission to show your video with my power point presentation. I also like you website. It is well organized and informative.

  13. Hi, my grandson is 7 and in 2nd grade. He has had speech difficulties all of his life is ADHD and is very discouraged with so much anxiety regarding school, it breaks my heart. I am a nurse and I know that he also has dyslexia but has not been officially diagnosed. I am preparing to meet with his teachers and the principal of his school within the next week and will be sharing your video with them at this time. This video is a source of inspiration and hope to all of us. Thank You. I will continue to advocate for my grandson who is unable to do so for himself.

    Sincerely,
